‹Display Companion Mobile App› is an app to organize your TV viewing experience around you. It can replace your conventional remote control and offer many extra features from easy text entry to sharing media that is on your home network and much more.
Control your connected Philips display with one single app. ‹Display Companion Mobile App› offers all the control options of your original remote control. Complemented with additional features like easy text entry now you can stream pictures, videos, and music easily from your computer, Smartphone or Tablet to your Philips display at a simple push of a button on the ‹Display Companion Mobile App›.
You can browse through the Electronic Program Guide, view ratings and select the channel without interrupting your current display watching. If you find another program you would like to watch, simply select it on your Tablet and the display will switch to that program.

‹필립스 디스플레이 모바일 앱›은 시청자의 디스플레이 활용 경험을 새롭게 재정의 한다. 앱은 기존의 리모컨을 대신할 뿐만 아니라 가정 네트워크 안에서 엔터테인먼트 콘텐츠 공유 등 사용자의 홈네트워크를 통한 다양한 시청 경험을 확장할 수 있는 기능들을 포함한다.
앱은 연결된(connected) 필립스 디스플레이를 원활하게 제어 할 수 있도록 기존 리모컨 기능을 포함하고 있다. 아울러 쾌적한 입력 UX를 통해 디스플레이에 글자를 간편하게 입력할 수 있다. 또한 앱을 통하여 스마트폰, 컴퓨터등 홈네트워크 내에 저장되어 있는 콘텐츠(사진, 비디오, 음악)를 간단한 조작으로 필립스 디스플레이에서 재생할 수 있다.
디스플레이에서 프로그램을 시청하는 동시에, 스마트폰에서 EPG(전자 프로그램 안내서)를 확인한 후, 디스플레이 시청 방해 없이 다음에 무슨 프로그램을 시청할지 결정할 수 있다. 보고 싶은 콘텐츠를 결정 하였다면 스마트폰이나 태블릿에서 시청하거나, 간편 예약을 통해 프로그램이 끝난 후 시청도 가능하다.
